Cold-night battery planning

Night shifts are cold shifts. Cold cuts lithium-ion range by 20–35% and lights draw a little extra power. Charge indoors before you leave, keep tires at pressure, and plan a buffer — or route via a charging point if the trip is tight.

Choose a well-lit, low-traffic route

After dark, prefer cycle paths and quiet streets over busy roads. A route that sticks to Radwege is not only legal but safer and more predictable at night. Scout the route in daylight once, then trust it in the dark.

On-time for the 23:00 clock-in

Arriving at the site isn't the end of the journey. Add 8–12 minutes for gates, locking your scooter and the walk to the turnstile. A planner with an ETA at your actual speed — and a configurable shift buffer — gets you in on time, reliably.
